If DH rearranged what I'd done, he would be in charge of dishes forever! And, I am so frickin tired of loading and unloading the dishwasher too. Gah!

Lol. I'll come do your dishes. I know it's weird but I love hand washing dishes and won't let anyone else in the family do it. It relaxes me. I feel the same way about laundry.

I buy paper and plastic now. I’ve never had a dishwasher and most of the time it doesn’t bug me it lately I’m over it.

How many of your kids still live at home? If it's more that 2, I'd totally go to paper too. 😳

I can take or leave doing dishes, but I absolutely LOVE doing laundry!

There's only 3 of us, in fairness, so I never have a lot to do and occasionally go around looking for stuff to wash! I enjoy folding clothes right out of the dryer, too!

I hate putting it away, though.

Lol dh always tells me the exact same thing. He arranges them to fit as much as possible. Apparently I don’t fit as much as he does when I load it.

Please come do mine. I hateeeeeeeeee dishes since they’re never ending. We ate out tonight and I still had to do a load before bed.

I’m the opposite. Everyone else seems to overload it so it doesn’t clean the dishes properly. Sigh

Ugh same! We don't have a dishwasher, and won't until we have the money to renovate the kitchen. So, until then... blah.

So... if you smash them, then you have to clean it up. If you buy new ones, you still have to wash them before you use them.

My suggestion: Paper plates, paper bowls, and plastic spoons and forks.
