Don’t forget we also have indoor plumbing, Netflix, Amazon Prime, year round fresh produce of all kinds shipped from everywhere in the world, air conditioning, central heat, multiple bathrooms, convenience foods, should I go on ?

But alas I’m still going to bitch about my princess problems because I wasn’t born in 1900!!!

My great-grandmother was born in 1904. And she had some STORIES. It sounded like she was raised on another planet, I just couldn't relate to anything she told me. She really came from a resilient generation.

I remember my grandmother reused a lot of stuff, like aluminum foil, plastic bags, twist ties.
