Which she was pushed into doing by the NAACP. They trotted her and this issue out as a prop. It wasn't anything she wanted herself. I questioned the whole scenario too when I first heard of her, so I did some digging a while back.

I follow her on both IG and Twitter and quite often, I like what she has to say.
She will receive a lot of backlash for this but then again, she never seems to care about being controversial, which I respect.

Has she donated the money back to the city?Valentina327 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 11:34 pmAnonymous 4 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 10:57 pmIt takes a lot to rant about other black people having a “victim mentality” and pretending that systemic racism is a myth when she quite literally accepted a settlement from the city she grew up in, arguing the school failed to intervene in racist bullying against her.Anonymous 3 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 9:51 pm She's such a F***ing fraud lol

I haven't seen or heard anyone making George Floyd out to be a Saint, other than maybe his family, but that's to be expected.
He could have been Hitler on speed for all I care.
HE DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE THAT WAY. PERIOD.
This dumb bitch needs to take a seat with that bullshit.

Agreed. Regardless of his past, the point remains that he did not deserve to die, especially not in such a horrible way. I don’t know why people continue to choose to harp on irrelevant details rather than focusing on the matter at hand and the injustice that occurred. His death was entirely senseless and completely avoidable. So tragic.KendallsMom wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 1:53 am I haven't seen or heard anyone making George Floyd out to be a Saint, other than maybe his family, but that's to be expected.

It does not matter what his criminal history was. He was murdered by that cop. Candace Owens is a self-agrandizing bitch who will have Karma kick her ass eventually.

She was a child at the time so it likely didn't go to her. I don't know what her parents did with it, who I'm guessing were the recipients. It was a small amount, so I hope they kept it as compensation for their aggravation of being dragged into this situation and having to perform in front of the cameras for an organization's benefit.Anonymous 4 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 12:27 amHas she donated the money back to the city?Valentina327 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 11:34 pmAnonymous 4 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 10:57 pm

Pretty much how I feel. He didn't deserve to die as he did. Not over 20 dollars he may or may not have known was counterfeit. If he committed a heinous crime then he can get his day in court like everyone else. But the police became the executor and that's not their job. And that frightens me. Because my sons or I could be next. Someone I care about could be next. It's something that worries even me so I see why the black community is even more frightened.Anonymous 4 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 10:40 pm Quite the strawman Candy has created there. I don’t think the vast majority of people know or care about whether Floyd was a saint or a career criminal or somewhere in between, they just know and care that he was murdered by the police in a country that has a problem with systemic racism.

Pretty much what every far-right conservative says every time a black person dies in a police encounter. I have never heard anything remotely original or insightful from Candace Owens.
