If an uncle takes a grandparent DNA test, will it show up as him being the grandfather or what? Do we need another special test?

If my son and his alleged uncle take a grandparent test in place of an Avuncular DNA test , will it show up as the uncle being the grandfather. Some secrets cannot be told so this is why I'm asking. Will it still show that they are related even though he is really the uncle??

It will show that he is related, but it will not show him as a grandparent...

Yes. And no. DNA will still show related. I don't think there are specific markers that show whether its grandpa or uncle though. But who knows. I'm not a geneticist.
