Is there some kind of shortage of kosher salt?

I have not been able to find kosher salt in my grocery store for months, I’ve even checked other stores and haven’t been about to get it. I resorted to buying it on amazon, my daughter was very confused when she opened a package with 6 pounds of salt in it. I told her it was to protect the house from evil, really buying 2 boxes saved me $5

It was out at several stores by me. I had to look to find some.

I had a bunch, but my dd thought it was fun to dump it out all over the kitchen. I have the spare box in the downstairs kitchen now.Crazymom wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 3:23 pmSo weird! Hrmmm I'm not sure. Google isn't really giving me any decent info.

I don't use kosher salt, so I have no clue. If I were the Winchesters, I'd buy 40lb bags of pool salt for $8 at my local Home Improvement store. I use Redmond's Real Salt. I buy it at my local health food store up the street. They have it prepackaged and in the bulk goods section. I usually buy 5lbs at a time so I buy from the bulk bin.
