Letting strangers move in your house with your children is irresponsible

I think it is scary that so many women on this website and others that I am on just let random people move into the house that their children live in. You have no idea what that person is like or what they are capable of. You have no idea what their intentions are. It is irresponsible and could be dangerous.

Thanks for the PSA?

When does that happen? A roommate situation?

Renting your house out to randoms or getting a roommate.

finances suck sometime. you never actually know someone IMO anyway.

yes i think it's very dangerous especially when kids are there. people are crazy and you just truly don't know someone. even a female roommate is dangerous.

I would assume you run a complete criminal background check and credit check on someone before renting to them, no? I’ve never rented a room to anyone, but I have hired nannies and housekeepers and that’s at least has potentially dangerous for my children as a roommate. Unfortunately you sometimes have to do what you have to do.

I agree. It’s not something I would ever do.
