I typically purchase off the registry and it honestly depends on how much money I have at the time.

I don't usually give cash. I pick something from their registry and get them that.

It depends on who it is. If it's a relative/friend of one of my close friends, usually $75 If I'm going solo. My friend's kids $100. My brother in laws sister - we're not close, have maybe seen her 10 times in 20 years but she's family. I went solo and gave her $150. If I'm bringing a date, then I double it usually.

I normally pick things off the registry unless the couple has already been living together and then I give cash as I figure they pretty much already have things they need/want. When my nephew got married almost 2 years ago, we gave them $100. I have a friend from Church getting married next month and I will most likely get something off of the registry.

My cousin set up a GoFundMe honeymoon account and asked everyone to fund their honeymoon Instead of gifts. We are giving 300.
I give enough to cover the cost of feeding my DH and I. And then, I add on to the $$$ amount based on how close I am to the bride and/or groom.
In recent years, the least we've given is $300.00. As a bride, though, I appreciated any amount that was given.
