Quit being mean she just wants to help you. Start getting the guest room ready.
And have a great time with your MIL. 😁
We dont have a guest room. She can get a hotel room or not come.
No guest rom?!?
You and DH need to give her the master bedroom and you guys sleep on the couch.

What are you going to do when the doorbell rings and it's her at the door?

Dh will let her stay regardless.

But its cute that you think you have some say.
How dumb. I would have complete say lol. Would not happen in my home.
Why wouldn’t your DH have equal say? I don’t think anyone would want a house guest for 2 months, but they is certainly a compromise available here. I would never tell my DH his mother couldn’t come, but I would offer suggestions about how long she should stay.

Because he just doesn’t. I run things around here. From cleaning to what we have for dinner to house guests. MIL would certainly be welcome to visit a new baby but to stay there for 2 months? Hell no. I have my routine.
