That this story is BS bc if any part of her argument is strapped finances-like she can't afford a hotel-she wouldn't have wasted money on a plane ticket when you were saying no. Why would she take that financial risk?

A plane ticket wasnt a financial risk. Tickets are $50 from where she is to here. She isnt strapped financially but that doesnt mean she has the money to spend thousands of dollars on a hotel room.
