We have a 95 year old neighbor who constantly reminds us that she is 95. If I didn’t know better Inwould day she is in her early 70s. Old if you’re 40, but younger than her 95!

everyone ages, some at faster rates than others but when you're all 85, NONE of you will look young. count yourself lucky for now and start caring about things other than appearance. before you know it, everyone will see you as a little old lady, do you want to be known as a sweet little old lady or a grumpy one?

yeah but saying she looks to be in her 70s is still old. that is my point.

Not her! It’s all relative! I have seen 40 year olds that look OLD and yet you have someone who IS old and who doesn’t look it!

That's funny. I am curious, how does she bring her age up in conversation? If you say "Nice weather!" Does she say "Yes it is, did I ever tell you that I am 95?"

I think people who look real rough and old in their 40s just didn’t take very good care of themselves when they were younger and many had done drugs in their younger years. I’ve seen people in their 40s look like they are 60 because they did heavy drugs.

I'm in my 30's and I've been told I look younger than I am. I'm Irish and protection from the sun has always been a necessity, so that might have helped a bit.

You do know that's subjective, right?

What’s subjective? If you’re referring to my weight, I added that because she was suggesting that women in their 40’s are fat and I’m not fat. My weight is a very healthy weight according to my doctor, so the fact that it’s a healthy weight for me also isn’t subjective.

The last time I was in Florida I was carded for a lottery ticket lol. So I’m also pretty sure most people don’t look at me and think I’m 50.
