I went to a different er yesterday. They did a catscan and said im constipated.I poop all the time . I just urinated on myself again because I could not stand up.I also took an enema last night and laxatives.No change in pain

Get some magnesium citrate, that should clear you out.

then it's time for a GI dr to rule out diverticulitis or diverticulosis -- what you describe in pain, is exactly that.

I need an mri .I told the doctor at the er i needed one and he said no .Im terrified.Im a single mom with no help.My kids need me.I can't even cook for them.

Nothing showed up on the cat scan? Did you tell them the last time you pooped to negate their diagnosis? You have to advocate for yourself. I have told doctors I am not leaving till they do X and they end up doing X. You have to be the bigger bitch sometimes. When they ask what your pain is on the 1-10 scale always say 10. Anything less than 10 and they ignore you

They could have done a lot more for you. I'd go to a different emergency room and get another opinion. Excruciating pain is not normal, something is wrong. The doctor needs to be fired. My daughter went to the ER two weekends ago because she had intense stomach pain and I couldn't get it under control. They did ultrasound and was able to determine what was wrong from that. If that didn't show anything they were going to do an xray. They just didn't want to expose her to it if she didn't need it. Those Dr's could have done more.

No there isnt.My kids have been helping me as far as putting on my clothes and helping me stand.The pain is worse.I swear it feels like something inside my body is going to busy.Im going to go to urgent care tomorrow.I can no longer walk at all.Every step is so painful.Ive taken miralax,exlax and enemas....nothing is working. I've been crying off and on all day.My family isnt the least bit concerned I've text them telling them how much pain im in and they are flippant.

You dont need an ER; you need another doctor. Probably an orthopedic doctor? Or go see your PCP who can help you figure out what type of specialist to see if the PCP doesnt know how to help you.

at THAT time, yes, she needed an ER....but since they treated her like shit, she should call her pcp

Unless you're dying, you need to go through your doctor instead. That's why people need primary doctors. They can and will order appropriate tests and refer you to specialists.

She very well might need an ER. My gall bladder had ruptured and it felt like lower back pain.
