Can't say I'd enjoy going to those events either. I really don't like going to kid events at all, even for my own.

My siblings went to a catholic school K-8 and you are right. Everything is mass first and I went to all their events. There are 15 yrs between one brother and I, 17 between my sister and I and 19 between my other brother and I. Everything was so boring but I sucked it up and went lol
Perhaps you could take a separate vehicle and meet up with everyone after Mass?
I would not like that either honestly. I mean attending school events in general can be boring. But ones with a bunch of prayers. Boredom city. But its good you go anyway and suck it up.
