We usually spend under $100 on groceries each week. We eat a lot of plant based whole foods and we buy what's in season. Vegetables in season are cheap. We usually use meat to supplement our meals instead of as the main portion. We buy shelf items, like rice, spices, flour, pet food, etc. in bulk and use meat to supplement our dishes. We buy our meat mainly straight from the farm in larger quantities that we keep in a deep freezer, which is cheaper. We rarely buy prepackaged snacks or bottled drinks. We drink water and if we want juice or tea, we make it. My kids were just as full from the thermos of wonton soup, and reusable water bottle I sent them with for lunch as if I sent them with a sandwich, fruit cup, granola bar, and juice box or sports drink. The soup cost $5 to make for all of them while all of those little prepackaged sides would have added up. We use g-diapers, so we only have to buy the inserts, which are $10 for a pack of 100.Anonymous 3 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 1:34 pm How?

This but Uber Eats. I’d probably cry if I kept track.leadfoot40 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 11:27 am No idea, I don't really keep track of how much I spend on groceries

Honestly I don't know. I would have been able to make it work when I had a kid in diapers and formula, in fact I'm pretty sure I did it on less, but my kid is 18, lol. I have no idea and no need to have an idea of what formula and diapers run these days.
